How can you help?

Since 1987 The Center has been an important resource for the international community providing crisis intervention, counseling, newcomer orientation, information and referrals. We would not be able to provide these services without the generosity of many corporations and individuals.

The Center receives no government funding. We generate 50% of our revenues from fee-based programs, like counseling, continuing education and advertising, and 50% from donations generously provided by corporations, civic groups and individuals. We also rely on donated goods and services, as well as the time contributed by volunteers.

You can help us continue to support the international community in several ways.

Cash donations

Many organizations and individuals choose to support The Center via cash donations. Please contact the Center csc [at] communitycenter [dot] org [dot] tw (office manager) or call 02 2836 8134 for information on how to make a donation.

Goods and services donations

Some organizations and individuals provide The Center with much-needed computers, software, office supplies, equipment, services and fixtures. If you would like information on in-kind contributions, please contact The Center at 02 2836 8134.

Volunteer your time and skills

Many individuals donate time and skills to The Center. For details on volunteer opportunities click contact our csc [at] communitycenter [dot] org [dot] tw (office manager).

Annual Auction & Dinner

Each autumn The Center hosts a Charity Auction & Dinner, which includes both silent and live auctions. This premier event is our single-most important fundraiser. Many organizations and individuals donate artwork, electronics, antiques, home furnishings, services and trips, while others choose to donate cash which is used to purchase items that will be put into the auction. Many contributors purchase tickets to attend the gala. Tickets are also sold to the general public. If you would like more information about contributing to and/or attending the auction, please contact the Community Services Center.
