Nerikiri Wagashi are traditional Japanese confections known for their delicate beauty and their seasonal motifs which evoke the transient beauty of the seasons and are meant to be appreciated with all of the five senses. This plant-based sweet is made with bean pastes and mochi powder; it is nonfat, low sugar and gluten free. So this is an alternative healthier treat to celebrate the Mid-Autumn festival. In this class you will learn how to make your own Nerikiri Wagashi in two designs and enjoy your finished creations with some Matcha green tea.
