Create a Beautiful Summer Handbag Using Chinese Knotting Techniques

This three-session knotting class offers you a chance to produce a beautiful, hand-made “sack” handbag, great for the summer in the city or even the beach! Over the course of each class Naomi will teach you how to prepare the materials and produce the appropriate knots, which are reminiscent of macramé. Depending upon your past experience and skill, you may need to do some of the work at home in between each class. Samples of completed bags will be available at the Center. All materials for the class included.

Class meets on Wednesdays, May 5, 12, 19.
