A healthy and flexible spine is a direct reflection of our body's aging process. It indicates how energy flows through different parts of the body. Yoga brings strength, flexibility, and tone to the body. It can open the hamstrings, shoulders, and chest. Understanding our body helps create health, emotional stability, and happiness. Regular practice helps to ease tensions and lubricate the joints. Full range body motion brings spinal health and stretches the chakras (energy points of the body). Chakras are interconnected along the spine and correspond to various parts of the body. Deep work within the physical body touches our chakras. In each session we will practice sun salutations and asanas, combined with breathing exercises and mindfulness meditation. Please prepare a yoga mat, water bottle, and towel for class. The class is open to all. Once registered, students will be provided with instructions on how to join this online class.
