Mid-Autumn Festival Feast

ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL BE OPEN ON AUGUST 7TH.

Mid-Autumn Festival, commonly known as Moon Festival, is an annual harvest celebration that falls at the time of the full moon. Moon gazing, having BBQs, and eating mooncakes (shaped like the moon) are some of the ways that people in Taiwan celebrate this holiday. To mark this special occasion, Ivy will prepare a special menu of mid-autumn fare: Pomelo and Shrimp salad; Taro and Seafood Rice Noodle soup; Baked Chestnut Pastry (Taiwan-style moon cakes); and, a tasty seasonal vegetable.

Instructor: Ivy Chen
