We will use the breath as a guide to fluidly move from one yoga pose to the next, building graceful yet powerful sequences. Each class will begin with breath work (pranayama) and then lead into sun salutations and more challenging poses at a moderate pace. We will become comfortable with backbends, hip openers, twists, folds, and maybe even explore what our bodies feel like upside down, allowing us to build strength, flexibility, and mental focus. This class is ideal for those familiar with yoga or newcomers who are relatively fit and strong. You will leave the class invigorated and rejuvenated, a perfect balance to a hectic day. Bring a towel, water, yoga mat, yoga blocks, and a strap if you have them (instructor will supply some items as well).
