Join the Center for a trip out to the Juming Museum, an awesome and unique outdoor scupture museum displaying the works of Taiwan artist Ju Ming, originally Ju Chuan-tai. This museum is one of Rosemary's favorites, but often missed by many resident expats due to its somewhat out of the way location in the North Coast area. Located in the beautiful mountainside town of Jinshan, the Museum's expansive grounds feature a multitude of amazing outdoor exhibitions that allow visitors to get up close to the artworks on display. While most of the sculptures are displayed outside in natural surroundings, the Museum also has two interior exhibition spaces, some of which are open, some temporarily not, but the highlights are definitely outdoors. This trip includes transportation by minibus, entrance to the Museum and insurance. There is a small café for snacks, drinks and lunch, but you may also bring a simple picnic lunch to eat outdoors. Comfortable walking shoes, lots of water, sunscreen, a hat and even a UV umbrella are highly recommended now that we are experiencing summer weather. This trip is suitable for families.
