No meal is more connected to one’s country of origin, ethnic heritage or personal family traditions than breakfast. It is also a meal that many of us find difficult to change or adapt to in a foreign country. Around Taipei at many small eateries and stalls you can find a mix of both old-style Taiwanese breakfast foods and some newer, possibly more familiar “Western” items to eat. If you haven’t tried local breakfast at least once, why not join Ivy for a nostalgic visit to an old Tianmu breakfast shop to taste some of Taiwan’s traditional breakfast eats? Love it or not, you shouldn’t miss the chance to experience this local foodie encounter. Breakfast included.
