Christmasland in New Taipei City

November 13 – January 03

Christmasland in New Taipei City is undoubtedly the most well-known Christmas venue in Taipei with various family-friendly events, an uncountable number of Christmas lights, concerts, and markets scattered around Banqiao station. Here you will definitely get a great Christmas feel. This year there will be Disney characters such as Snow White, Peter Pan, Dumbo, and Alice in Wonderland.

Location: Along the way from New Taipei City Hall Square to Fuzhong Shopping Area
MRT: Take the blue line, alight at Banqiao station, and go to Exit 2 or 3A.
Train or THSR: Alight at Banqiao station and walk for a rough 5 mins.

Stroll down Ji-Qing Christmas Alley

In Ji-Qing Village of Beitou district, see the dazzling lights and ornaments of the residents in the area and immerse yourself in their creative Christmas decorations

Are you more in the mood for a stroll to see the Christmas lights, then Ji-Qing Christmas alley is the way to go. Originally a local church activity at the San-Ai church, and now become the annual celebration of the village. Each year a theme is chosen, whereafter all families in the area decorate their house accordingly. The Ji-Qing Christmas Alley has been voted as one of the ten most romantic Christmas attractions of Taiwan, even though the decorations are very individual: It is a very festive walk of lights and ornaments in a residential area.

Location/Transport: Take the MRT red line and alight at Shi-pai station. Exit 1 will give you the easiest access to the alley.

November 27 – January 03

A total of 15 department stores, 4 signature shopping districts, and numerous signature stores have been enlisted for this festival activity. Gloriday Blessing Christmas Market

November 20 – January 03
Are you looking for a Christmas market with that American Mall feeling and light displays, falling snow, Santa and reindeer photo opportunity, and a Fantasy Show – then this is the one to go for.

Transport: Take the HSR 20 minutes from Taipei Main, and get those Holiday gifts sorted in one go.

International Christmas Bazaar
November 28

Taipei Handmade market collective has made a Christmas market with an indoor/outdoor winter wonderland. Here you can enjoy festive holiday decorations and music as you visit one of our food vendors before heading to B2, where you can find an array of handmade arts and crafts from local and international artists. Your children can enjoy Christmas-themed activities and crafts.

Ninenine Art Festival
November 28
Open day in the 33 creative studios, 22 artists, and 57 works of art from 2.30-5 pm.
Tim Budden’s studio is #317 on 3F. There’s also an exhibition including my work on 2F and a craft market on 1F.

European Christmas Market

December 04 – December 06

At this market, you can take pictures at Santas house. This is the place to go if you are on the lookout for European products, as well as freshly made food and drinks for you to enjoy from Europe. There will be lucky draws and cultural performances. Bring your loved ones along to enjoy this holly-jolly holiday event! Get a taste of Europe without having to travel abroad!

The event revenue will be donated to a local charity dedicated to children’s welfare.

At this market, you can pick up a gift, a unique souvenir, or something to decorate your walls.  Christmas-themed work will be created specifically for this market and some artists will be giving little workshops, so you can go home with your own crafted piece of work! It is the hope to produce a branch between the creator and their audience, by making an intimate and affordable market space to support and connect you with local creatives.
There will be mulled wine along with vegan shakes and soft drinks.

A free Christmas charity festival aimed at helping local charities while bringing the festive spirit to Taiwan arranged by Latina Taiwan!

It’s a wonderful time to celebrate the holidays. What could make this a more memorable and heartwarming time? Well helping local charities of course! The event is totally FREE to enjoy. So come down and spend the day with us!
There will be delicious food, festivities, a charity raffle, shows, and live band performances. 50% of all raffle tickets will go to local charities, so come out and support!

It’s a Christmas Cabaret: A Not-So-Silent Night! (This is an 18+ event)

It’s that time of year again, folks! It’s our 9th annual Christmas Cabaret fundraiser! ‘Tis the season to be merry and spread a little holiday cheer in support of those who are less fortunate. Since it is difficult for most of us to travel back home and spend Christmas with our family this year, we’ve decided to have our very own Christmas celebration on Christmas Day with all of our chosen family in Taiwan!

German Christmas Market 2020

Join the German Christmas Market at one of 50 booths promoting and selling German food, beverages, snacks, brands, kids’ products and more! There will be special exhibition areas and on-site activities for German beer competitions, Football shooting, Hand-made Christmas cookies etc.
