Thai boxing has long been the traditional sport of the Kingdom of Siam; originally used by soldiers for close combat and more recently it’s become famous in the world of competitive mixed martial arts. This class will serve as an introduction to the sport for beginners, focusing on learning the basics and how to apply them to self-defense situations. In addition to introducing valuable skills, Thai boxing is also a fantastic whole-body workout for strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. People of all ages are welcome to join Kate for a fun introduction to this exciting sport. No equipment required. Please wear proper sports/workout attire for the class.
