Richard Saunders is somewhat of a legend around
Taiwan. He is known for his exceptional guide books,
his photography and for leading exciting and interesting hikes.

one of Richard’s photographs of Stegosaurus Ridge,
as a cover for our November issue of COT.
Stegosaurus Ridge is popular with experienced hikers
because of its close proximity to the uniquely shaped Teapot Mountain,
whose trail starts at the Gold Ecological Park in Jiufen, where parking
is available. Hikers are advised that the hike will take about 4 hours.
